Since we will be staying here in our house this Christmas,unlike the other years,i need to prepare plenty of fruit salad, macaroni salad and Leche plan that i can because most of our visitors and relatives loves my salads. And because most of our visitors consists of kids, i am preparing sweets for the sweet toothed.Hope i can make as many until tomorrow morning so i don't need to rush preparing for the main course in the evening.

Sweet thought for the sweet tooth
Today is the 23rd of December and Christmas is just hours away.Got all the ingredients for the foods that i will be cooking for Christmas eve except for the meats.

Christmas Party
Yesterday, December 16 2011, was my first time to attend my daughters school Christmas party and Family day. My daughter is in elementary, grade two.
My daughter told me that the event will start at 7 in the morning so we rush into their school thinking that we will arrive late. We came to the hall at 7:15 in the morning and was so surprised to know that the event will start at 8:00. Long hour to wait but good thing her teacher was there waiting for her students to come.
At the event, my daughters excitement to come to the party early, brought me a winning as the " most supportive mom" , where in i was given a mug as my prize.
Aside of the gifts that she got from winning the contest, we went home happy because she got her favorite things from their exchanged gifts.A set of coloring materials like coloring pens, crayons,and others which she can use in her artworks.
Now i know how it feels to attend a Christmas party/ family day with kids.I enjoyed it a lot and was so happy to bring more happiness to my daughter when i came to the party with her.

My daughter joined the game and won a prize with her classmate.There are almost hundred pairs in the contest and i can see the joy in my daughters eyes when she and her partner won the game.
Celebrating Special Occasion With Dear Ones
Because we are living away from my grandparents house,and our grandmother is so old to travel long hours, we did not have time to spend our birthdays with grandmother for years. She is not allowed to travel long hours because her bones are weak. Last month she phoned us and tell us to fetch her on their house and that she will have a vacation here with us. We asked her doctor if she can take the hours travel. Finally she she was given a go signal but told us to be very careful travelling her.
Yesterday was my fathers birthday and we are so happy to have it celebrated with our grandmother.I saw the happiness in my fathers eyes when Granny came to him and sing him a happy birthday song and kissed him. Honestly, i cried seeing them like that. I wish she could spend more time here with us and spend every special occasion with her. Even if that means taking care of her every hour, watching her while she is to go to the bathroom, and taking her to bed every night.
My family knows its selfish but, we are hoping for her to spend the rest of her life here with us.We love her so dearly and somehow we know that she will be well taken cared of here with us.
